Ms. Dittman loves working with children and gets great satisfaction seeing their faces light up when they learn something new and exciting. Her favorite thing about The Guthrie School is the diversity and sense of community. She learns just as much from her students as they learn from her! She loves having the children teach her about all types of traditions and holiday activities in the classroom.

Ms. Dittman is always impressed by how much her students learn and grow. During the 2015-2016 school year, she was blown away by her students’ performance of “The Nightingale” in their 3rd grade play. It is extremely rewarding for her to see her students’ talents blossom.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Dittman enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending quality  time with friends and family. She has a daughter, Kayla, a son, Bryan, a dog, and two very spoiled cats.

Ms. Dittman brings her love of learning back to the classroom. She gives challenging, yet fun activities to the students, to encourage positive and stimulating growth that allow the students to be ready for their futures. One of her favorite quotes and her motto for students is; “Passion plus persistence equals possibility” –Jon Bon Jovi

We are so grateful to have Ms. Dittman on our staff!
