Please call today us at 972-596-6929 and schedule a personal tour of our campus. Tours are given between the hours of 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. to avoid our pick-up and drop off times. Tours are scheduled on a “first come, first served” basis and last about an hour. We look forward to presenting our school and environment to you in person.
To apply to the Guthrie School, we ask you to assemble and prepare a variety of materials that will help us assess your child’s qualifications. The following serves as a preview of what you need to prepare for each of the Guthrie School programs.
Download the application which corresponds to your child’s grade level from our Apply Now page. Complete the application, including Applicant Information form and Family Statement form, and email or deliver it to the Guthrie School admissions office.
Complete the top section of the Records Release form and submit it to an official at your child’s current school. The school should then forward an official copy of your child’s transcript, including grades from the current school year along with the signed Records Release form, to The Guthrie School admissions office. The official transcript must be sent directly to us from the applicant’s current school; we cannot accept forms sent by parents.
Contact our admissions office to schedule an assessment date and time for your child’s individual placement testing. The testing lasts about an hour and a half. The application and testing fees ($125) for Kindergarten through Sixth Grade must be paid on the date of your child’s assessment.
The Guthrie School Admissions Committee will review your application, score your child’s assessment, and contact you with the results within two weeks of your child’s assessment.
