Karen Cooke attended the University of Texas in Arlington. She taught public education for 23 years in grades Kindergarten, 4th, 5th, and 7th including teaching ESL and the Gifted and Talented. In addition she taught 3rd and 4th grade at a private school. After teaching during the Summer @ Guthrie program for the past 2 summers, Karen is now excited to bring her experience in education to 3rd grade. In her time off, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, playing golf and pickleball.
